PEEPING TOMBOY BY KURT VILE
OFF OF "SMOKE RING FOR MY HALO"
2011 MATADOR RECORDS

BUY his music!!!

**TUNING**
low to high

G-G-D-G-B-D

tune the high E down a whole step to D. tune the low E up 1 1/2 steps to G. tune the A
string down a whole step to G.

the first chord is pretty hard to pick and do the hammer ons/pull offs so it's best to
use sort of a backwards D chord at the 4th fret (if that makes sense) and use your pinky
for the pulls/hammers... something like

E--4--
B--3--
G--4--
D--0--
A--0--
E--X--

intro/verses - he plays something like this the first time, then the second time he
doesn't hit the high E really on the two last chords of the bar - you'll have to listen

E-5p4-----------4-----------(4)------(2)------------------0----------|
B----------3h5-------3-------3--------2-----2-------0-----0----------|
G----------------------------4--------2-----2-------0----------------|
D-----0-----------0-----0--------0-------2------2-------0-----0------|
A-0--------0-----------------0---------------------------------------|
E-------------------------------------2-------------0----------------|

this is played once before the chorus thingy
E-5p4-------------4-------------(4)------------|
B------------3h5--------3--------3-------------|
G--------------------------------4-------------|
D------0-------------0------0---------0--------|
A-0----------0-------------------0-------------|
E----------------------------------------------|

chorus?? before going into this you play the first part of the intro/verse once
this bar goes 4 times and ends short with a pause at the end
E-7----------------------6-------4---------------|
B(4)--------------------(4)-----(4)--------------|
G------------------------------------------------|
D------------------------------------------------|
A-----4-------4-------4-------4-------4----------|
E-4------4--------4-------4-------4--------------|

chorus #2? this part goes 8 times i think

E-2---------------------0-------------------0----------------------|
B-------------2--------------------0---------------0---------------|
G---------2---------------------0---------------------0------------|
D-----2----------2----------0---------0--------0---------0---------|
A------------------------------------------------------------------|
E-2---------------------0-------------------0----------------------|

SLIDE up the the 5th fret for this part, the bar also ends short with a pause
E/5-------------------2------------------2-----------------2-----------------2-------------------|
B----------5-----------------2-----------------2-----------------2------------------2------------|
G-------------------------------2-----------------2-----------------2----------------------------|
D-----5--------5---------2---------2--------2--------2--------2--------2--------2----------------|
A------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E/5-------------------2------------------2-----------------2-----------------2-------------------|

go back into the intro from here and it just repeats. this is a pretty rough tab and i'm
positive the picking is not correct but it sounds close to the song. like i've stated
there are a lot of breaks and pauses throughout the song
