Stubb (A Dub) - Mr Bungle
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tabbed By : Jacob Parker

This was a tricky song to tab, but I’ve got it about 99%. Any questions
please feel free to email me. I’ve tried to make it as straightforward
as possible, but being it is Mr Bungle, the song is anything but
straightforward.

Tuning: Standard

Intro - 16 bars organ only, then:
  3/4 time (waltz feel)

A|-----3-----------|-----------3-----|-2-------0-------|-2-------0-------|---------|

This part is in drop D, however it makes the rest of the song harder to
play so it’s tabbed in standard tuning, with the D and D# notes tabbed
up the octave.

E|-3---3-3---3-3-0-|---0-0---0-0---0-|-0---0-0-----|

Ok, so from here on the rest of the song is pretty similar to the parts
that have been played already. There are a few changes so I’ve put them
in; the rest you should be able to just go back through and find
the appropriate section, eg. The next part starts with riff 1.

Play riff 1 but replace the 7th and 8th bars with this:

G|-----------------|-----------------|
D|---0---2-0-4-3-2-|-0---------------|
A|-2---4-----------|---4-3-1-2-------|
E|-----------------|-----------------|

Play Riff 2

Play Riff 3 (3x), then:

G|--------------|--------------|--------------|--------------|
D|-2-------4----|---5--------1-|-2-------4----|---5--------2-|
A|--------------|--------------|--------------|--------------|
E|--------------|--------------|--------------|--------------|

The pause reverts back to 4/4 and nothing plays for 5 bars, organ in on
the 6th bar and the bass comes back in halfway through the 7th bar with:

G|-----------------|
D|---------8-8-8-8-|
A|-----------------|
E|-----------------|

which leads straight into Riff 1. Play it as you did the first time through.

Play riff 4. It speeds up from bars 5-8, and there’s an extra couple
beats on the final bar before going into the next section.

Now it’s D.S al Coda from here. For those who don’t know musical
terminology, it means go back to the % (called the sign, it's where
the lyric “Dahg Rustubfari” is written on the tab) and play through till
you get to the words “to coda”, leave off the last bar and play this
bit, the coda.

Coda
               gradually slow down 2/4
G|-----------------|-----------------|---------|
D|-----------------|-----------------|---------|
A|-----------------|-----------------|---------|
E|-3---3-3---------|-----------------|---------|

Outro 3/4 time (waltz feel)
G|--------------|--------------|--------------|--------------|
D|--------------|--------------|--------------|--------------|
A|-3------------|--------------|-3------------|-----------3--|
E|--------------|-3------------|--------------|-3------------|

G|--------------|--------------|--------------|--------------|
D|--------------|--------------|--------------|--------------|
A|-1------------|---------1----|-0------------|-0---2---4----|
E|--------------|-----1--------|------------0-|--------------|

G|--------------|--------------|--------------|--------------|
D|--------------|--------------|--------------|--------------|
A|-5------------|-4------------|-3------------|-2------------|
E|--------------|--------------|--------------|--------------|

G|--------------|--------------|--------------|--------------|
D|--------------|--------------|--------------|--------------|
A|--------------|--------------|-2------------|---------2----|
E|-3------------|---------3----|--------------|-----3--------|

G|--------------|--------------|--------------|--------------|
D|--------------|-4------------|--------------|--------------|
A|-3------------|--------------|-3------------|--------------|
E|--------------|--------------|--------------|-4------------|

G|--------------|--------------|--------------|
D|--------------|-4------------|--------------|
A|-3------------|--------------|-3------------|
E|--------------|--------------|--------------|

  4/4
G|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------||
D|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------||
A|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------||
E|-4---4---4---4---|-4---4---4---4---|-4---4---4---4---||

On the very final 3 measures the tempo is slower, but due to the
accenting of the first beat of the bar in the waltz-feel section
(the “Do you remember?” part) it feels faster. But if you’re counting
beats, then it’s actually slower.

I must confess I did use the help of a guitar pro tab file, however
some parts of the bassline were incorrect, so I’ve spent hours
correcting them here in this tab.

Enjoy!
