			     Lonely Nation - Switchfoot
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Song: Lonely Nation
Artist: Switchfoot
Album: Nothing Is Sound
Tabbed by: timmy3125
Tuning: Drop D (DADGBE)

This is one of my favorite songs off of Switchfoot's new album Nothing Is Sound. This
has a strong punch to it, especially in the chorus, because there are now 3 guitars in
as opposed to 2. I looked all over for a tab of this song but I had no luck so here's
my shot at it. Hope you enjoy it, and if you do, please rate!

INTRO/VERSE 1: The intro is mostly piano and drums but theres an acoustic part stuck in
too. It might be hard to hear but once you hear it you can find the strumming if this
exact. This part is also played in the second half of the 1st verse.

INTERLUDE: This would be the part after the chorus when Jon sings "whooooa, whoaoooa..."
played quietly here and the when the verse comes its at full volume.

VERSE 2: This verse has two parts to it, the 1st goes with the 1st two lines and the 2nd
is played on the last two lines and is once again the acoustic part that goes with the
The electric part is the same part that is in the interlude right before the verse. If
you listen to the song you can hear the exact muting and stuff like that to get it perfect.

After you play through the entire chorus once, there's outro and Jon just keeps singing
Want more than a Lonely Nation, want more than a Lonely Nation..." During this part
parts from the bridge are used. They are played right after the chorus and at the same time. End on:
