James Bender, I tried to e-mail this to you 2 or 3 days ago and am not
sure if it made it or not. If so, sorry for cluttering up your mail box.
If not, please post this on the netnews alt.guitar.tab.

This is my closest approx. to Mother Goose. The song is capoed on the
fifth fret as the tuning indicates, although the finger positions and what
chords are present are given as if the capo is position 0. The song's
strumming and picking style necesitated some liberalization on my part in
the tab. The intro (section 1) which is played at the beginning and/or end
of each verse is repeated 2 to 4 times depending upon the verse.

(2nd line of chorus using same notes as above.)
Saw at least a hundred school girls sobbing into handkercheifs as one.

(Go to following after the second line of chorus.)
I don't believe they knew I was a school boy.

And the bearded lady said to me "If you start your raving
and your misbehaving you'll be sorry.
And the chicken fancier came to play, with his long red beard
and his sisters weird she drives a lorry.

  chorus, ending in above run.
Laughed down by the putting green I popped them in their holes.
Four and twenty laborers were laboring and digging up their gold.
I don't believe knew that I was Long John Silver.

Saw Johnny Scarecrow make his rounds in his jet black mac
which he won't give back, stole it from a snowman.
As I did walk by Hampstead Fair, I came upon Mother Goose
so I turned her loose as she was screaming.

  Chorus
Walked down by the bathing pond to try and catch some sun.
Must have been at least a hundred school girls
sobbing into handkercheifs as one.
I don't believe they knew I was a school boy.
