"Sudden Death in Carolina"
Tabbed by: John Brosius

i dont know if anyone has ever heard this song besides me, but i love
it and took the time to figure it out so you should download it and learn it.

intro:

e-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
b-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
g-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
d----------3---3-4-3------------------------------------------------------------
a------4-4---4-------4--------4---4-6-4-----------3---3-4-3---------------------
E-------------------------6-6---6--------6----4-4---4-------3--------22110040---

...play this three times, first time is by itself then its under the second
guitar for two times

then this little bridge thing...

e-----------------------------------------------------
b-----------------------------------------------------
g-----66---8----6-------------------4-----------------
d-----66---8----6----6---66---------4-----------------
a-----44---6----4----6---66---------6-----------------
E--------------------4---44---------------------------
you play that last chord after he just starts the verse

then both guitars come in playing....

e-------------------------------------------------------
b-------------------------------------------------------
g---4---------------------------------------------------
d---4-x8---4------4-------2-----------------------------
a---6------4-x8---4-x8----2-x8--------------------------
E----------6------2-------0-----------------------------
this is the part also played over the little riff in the intro

then for the "what difference does this difference in age make..." part...

e-------------------------------------------------------
b-------------------------------------------------------
g-----64--------------------66--------------------------
d-----66---66---44---66-----66--66--44------------------
a-----44---66---44---66-----44--66--44------------------
E----------44---22---44---------44--22------------------
just hit these really quick as he sings, its not hard to figure out if you listen
to the song, the last chord there you can palm mute if you want it, but just keep
it going till it stops for like one second then jumps into the chorus...

the chorus is the same chord progression as before...

e----------------------
b----------------------
g--4-------------------
d--4--4--4--2----------
a--6--4--4--2----------
E-----6--2--0----------
the only thing different is the strumming pattern, just listen to the song to get it down

after the chorus its the intro riff again with the easy power chord progression
]over it, but only this time you play it twice, the the little bridge thing, and
its the same except for you play the chorus twice.

then you get to the interlude, i havent figured out the little muted picking part
yet, but you just play the below chord over that.

e------
b------
g--6---
d--6---
a--4---
E------

then the bridge into the last chorus goes like....

e-------------------------------------------------------------
b-------------------------------------------------------------
g-----66-----------------66-----------------------------------
d--44-66-66-44--4-4---44-66--4-6------------------------------
a--44-44-66-44--4-4---44-44--4-6------------------------------
E--66----44-22--6-6---66-----2-4------------------------------
there is a small pause after this, then it goes into the last chorus
the chorus is the same as it was before obviously, then it ends on the bridge
after the into, in case you forgot....

e------------------------------------------
b------------------------------------------
g--66---8---6------------------------------
d--66---8---6----6--66---------------------
a--44---6---4----6--66---------------------
E----------------4--44---------------------

this is a really easy song to figure out and a fun one to play and sing along to,
if you wanna sing along to it, i might as well give you the lyrics...

last night, i swallowed liquor and a lighter,
and this morning i threw up fire,
but its nothing new,
ive been piecing it together its got something to do,
with every look thrown like a knife across a crowded room,
and every slow and quit car ride i spent drinking in the backseat,
every stupid melody and every stupid song, and every stupid words that everybodys hanigin on,

what difference does this defference in age make?
i know how it ends...kill me quick...

call 911, im already dead but
someone should be caught and held responsible for this bloddy mess

last night, i fell asleep next to a liar,
and i woke up with a shiner, and its all that i remember
from a night spent lying on my back with a veiw
of a stone white celing and the back of your head,
this dark and quiet bed felt like the middle of nowhere
and we beat eachother up like we always do,
when im talkin to myself id always rather be talking to you

what difference does this difference in age make?
i know how it ends...kill me quick...

call 911, im already dead but
someone should be caught and held responsible for this bloody mess
call homocide, take the case to court
'cus her lips taste like a loded gun
im her number 1 chalk outline on the floor....

...they hung her from the bridge on monday......
...the gathering turned into a mob before long....
...they dropped her body in the river....
...and school and work returned to normal before long...normal before long...

call 911, im already dead but
someone should be caught and held responsible for this bloody mess
call homocide, take the case to court,
'cus her lips taste like a loaded gun,
im her number 1 chalk outline on the floor
